General: TibiaME is an online role playing game in which thousands of players from all over the world meet everyday.
In order to ensure that this game is fun for everyone, CipSoft expects all players to behave in a reasonable and friendly manner.
CipSoft employs "gamemasters" who have the power to stop destructive behaviour in the game by penalizing, banishing or deleting characters.
A violation of the TibiaME Rules may lead to a temporary banishment of characters with or without notice. In severe cases permanent removal of characters without any compensation or notice may be considered. Violations can also lead to temporary or total loss of support for certain support tasks. The sanction is based on the seriousness of the rule violation and the previous criminal record of the player. It is determined by the gamemaster imposing the banishment.
These rules can be changed at any time. All changes will be announced on the official web- and wapsite. 1. Charactername rules: The following names are illegal:
Names which contain seriously offensive, insulting, racist, extremely right-wing or sexist language.
Names that obviously were created to fake official positions (e.g."Gamemaster"). 2. Statements: The following statements are illegal:
Seriously offensive statements.
Repeating identical or similar statements within a short period of time or use of nonsensical or badly formatted text ("spamming").
Advertising content which is not related to the game or offering TibiaME items or characters for real money. 3. Cheating: The following actions are illegal:
Exploiting obvious errors of the game ("bugs") or intentional abuse of weaknesses in the gameplay.
Using tools to automatically perform or repeat certain actions without any interaction by the player or manipulating the client program or using additional software to play the game. 4. Login Information: The following actions are not allowed:
Offering character data to other players or accepting other players' character data ("character trading/sharing"). You may not give your user name or password to anybody. You are responsible to keep your user data secret. Violation of this rule will lead to temporary or total loss of support for certain support tasks for this character (e.g. "password recovery").
Trying to steal other players' character data ("hacking").
If you have the suspicion that your character is being or has been hacked, you must immediately notify CipSoft by sending an email to support@tibiame.com. 5. Characters and virtual goods: All characters, virtual goods and ingame currencies are the property of CipSoft.
You may not offer, purchase, sell, trade or give away any virtual items from the game in the "real world". 6. Destructive behaviour: You may not disrupt the game experience of other players with your behaviour.
